Samsung unveils which smartphones will receive Android 15
Samsung has announced which smartphones will receive the Android 15-based One UI 7 update, which should bring significant UI design improvements and new features to a wide range of Galaxy devices.
According to technology news site Gizchina, beta testing of the new operating system will begin in August 2024 with the Galaxy S24 series of smartphones.
The beta program will be available for Samsung's flagship Galaxy S series devices, including:
- Galaxy S21,
- Galaxy S22,
- Galaxy S23,
- Galaxy S24:
FE series devices will also have access to the new operating system. The Galaxy Z series, represented by the Fold and Flip series, as well as various Galaxy Tab models in the A and S series will also receive the update.
Among the expected changes are an improved interface design, enhanced security measures and closer integration with the Samsung ecosystem. The update also promises new AI features, battery optimization and performance improvements.
