Artem Bausov, the editor of the Russian website iPhones.ru, which publishes news about consumer electronics, presented to the readers the impressions he received after using the iPhone 15 Pro smartphone for six months, urging them not to buy this Apple smartphone, if their phones are not very old, because this smartphone does not significantly differ from the iPhone 14.

One of the main innovations of the iPhone 15 Pro was the programmable Action Button, which replaced the previous silent mode button. According to Bausov, after several tests, he turned on silent mode and forgot about its existence.

The editor of the iPhones.ru website noted that the increased battery capacity of the iPhone 15 Pro also did not provide a noticeable increase in the duration of the smartphone on a single charge compared to the iPhone 14 Pro.

Another innovation of iPhone 15 Pro was the titanium body. The journalist noted that the “wow” feeling of the new material passes after a few days of using the device. Therefore, according to him, the difference with the previous generation in this respect is not felt. "Aluminum or titanium, there is no difference. Absolutely!," Bausov wrote.

The expert called it a marketing trick that during Apple's presentation, emphasis was placed on the power of the A17 Pro chip used in the iPhone 15 Pro. According to him, six months later it turned out that such a processor resource is not needed, there is simply no place to use it.

Bausov said that the three big iPhone 15 Pro/Pro Max games (Resident Evil Village, Resident Evil 4 Remake, and Death Stranding) aren't well optimized for smartphones and since they don't get updates, the problem is not likely to be solved.

"In short... don't buy the iPhone 15 Pro. Only if your phone is an old iPhone 11 or a lower model, you can update," wrote Artem Bausov, editor of the iPhones.ru website.
