The iPhone 16 Pro Max could have the longest battery life among all iPhone models, as reported by the insider Naver, also known as yeux1122, citing sources in the supply chain. He confirmed information about increasing the screen diagonal of the iPhone 16 Pro from 6.1 to 6.3 inches, which will enhance the optical zoom capabilities. It is likely that the new model will feature a telephoto lens with a periscope and 5x zoom, first introduced last year on the iPhone 15 Pro Max. Additionally, the iPhone 16 Pro will have a wider frame compared to the Samsung Galaxy S24.

The insider also added that the iPhone 16 Pro Max will have a larger battery, allowing it to achieve the longest battery life ever offered in an iPhone. Currently, the iPhone 15 Pro Max claims a 29-hour battery life, so there is a possibility that the iPhone 16 Pro Max could surpass the 30-hour mark for the first time. It was previously reported that the battery of the iPhone 16 Pro Max would be 5% larger in capacity than its predecessor.

Yeux1122 also noted that the iPhone 16 Pro/Pro Max models will retain 8GB of RAM, and Apple has evidently improved the manufacturing process of the titanium body, simultaneously reducing costs. The official announcement of the iPhone 16 lineup is expected in the fall.

This insider had previously accurately predicted the delay in the release of the new MacBook Pro to early 2023 and the absence of a titanium version in the iPhone 14 Pro lineup.
