Tech giant Apple is gearing up for the launch of the iPhone SE 4, set to feature the sleek chassis of the more premium iPhone 14, as reported by MacRumors.

According to insider sources, the upcoming budget-friendly smartphone from Apple will bid farewell to the traditional Home button. Instead, the iPhone SE will adopt a "bezel-less" design reminiscent of the iPhone 14, with the sole visual distinction being a single main camera.

MacRumors reveals that Apple will equip the new iPhone SE with a 48-megapixel sensor, previously featured in the base model of the iPhone 15. This isn't the first time the company has integrated flagship iPhone cameras into the budget-friendly SE lineup, promising an enhancement in photo quality.

The decision to forgo an additional sensor will have a positive impact on the dimensions of the iPhone SE 4, reducing its weight to a mere 165 grams.

The budget model will also boast a Face ID scanner and a USB-C port, replacing the proprietary Lightning connector. Rumors suggest that the iPhone SE's performance will be driven by the Apple A16 chip introduced last year. Additionally, there are speculations that Apple will abandon the signature mute switch in favor of an action button, a feature first seen in the iPhone 15 Pro.

The unveiling of the fourth-generation iPhone SE is anticipated in the spring of 2024, and Apple enthusiasts eagerly await to discover all the details of this latest offering from the tech giant.
