October 30, 2023  22:40

According to the latest report by GSMArena, the OnePlus 12 smartphone has broken records on the AnTuTu benchmark, achieving a remarkable score of over 2 million points. This milestone has positioned the upcoming device as a potential frontrunner for the title of the most powerful smartphone of 2023.

The flagship OnePlus 12 recorded an impressive 2.11 million points, surpassing the current performance of devices equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, which typically score around 1.5-1.6 million points. Industry experts anticipate that all flagship smartphones featuring the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, expected in 2024, will likely surpass the 2 million points mark as well.

The leaked testing data also revealed that the tested smartphone boasted 12 GB of RAM. Considering that the OnePlus 12 is rumored to be available in a maximum configuration with 24 GB of RAM, it is anticipated that the device will exhibit even more exceptional performance results.

While the specific launch date for the OnePlus 12 has yet to be announced, leaked images of an engineering sample enclosed in a discreet casing have surfaced online. This suggests the possibility of the device being released before the conclusion of 2023.

The OnePlus 12 is rumored to feature a 6.82-inch BOE X1 display with QHD+ resolution and an impressive 2600 nits brightness. The device is expected to house a robust 5400 mAh battery, supporting 100 W wired charging and 50 W wireless charging, offering users a comprehensive and powerful smartphone experience.

New OnePlus smartphones will have brightest screen in the world: the new OnePlus 12 with a 2K display is expected to achieve a peak brightness of 3000 cd/m². The 1.5K screen, which will be featured in later models, is anticipated to have an even higher brightness level.
