Budget iPhone SE 4 to have functions, design that are characteristic of flagships

The fourth-generation iPhone SE budget smartphone will have a number of new features, including the action button that the iPhone 15 Pro will also have. This is reported by the MacRumors portal, citing the authoritative insider Unknownz21.

According to preliminary information, iPhone SE 4 was supposed to be Apple’s first budget smartphone, made with the design of modern devices. The previous SE models are based on the iPhone 8 body, and the new device was expected to have an iPhone Xr body. But according to new information, the iPhone 14 body will serve as the basis for the new budget model.

Insider Unknownz21 reported that the iPhone SE 4 will also have a USB-C and a Face ID scanner. In addition, he confirmed that this smartphone will have a single rear camera and an OLED display. Furthermore, the iPhone SE 4 will be one of Apple's first devices to feature a proprietary 5G modem.

Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who is almost never wrong in his predictions about this company, previously reported that Apple may completely abandon the iPhone SE series, or delay the release of the new generation of SE series for a very long time.

According to him, the reason is not only the poor sales of the third-generation smartphones of this model, but also the relatively poor performance indicators of the 2022 iPhone in general, which in turn led to the decline in sales of the iPhone 14.
