New useful feature coming to Whatsapp soon

The popular WhatsApp messenger will soon get a new feature: the users will be able to pin messages in chats for 24 hours, 7 or 30 days. Many users will certainly be pleased with this feature: it will be especially useful for group chats, where it will be possible to pin important announcements and other information.

According to WABetaInfo, the new feature was discovered in the beta version of the messenger for Android under the number 2.23.13.11. The administrator will be able to pin any message to the top of the chat so that all its participants have easy access to important information. You can also choose how long the message will remain pinned -- a day, a week or a month. After the specified period, the post will be automatically unpinned, but you can also unpin it manually at any time.

According to the portal, the function of temporarily pinning messages is under development and is not yet available to a wide range of users. It is not yet known when the mass implementation of this feature will begin.
