Apple has been developing the iPhone 18 lineup for several years, and insiders are revealing more details. While we wait for the official announcement, here are at least 10 compelling reasons to hold off on buying the current flagship and wait for the iPhone 18 Pro (and Pro Max).

  1. Two-Phase Launch — Pro Models First
    In 2026, Apple may for the first time split the release into two waves. The iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and foldable iPhone Fold are expected in fall 2026, while the base iPhone 18 and iPhone 18e may arrive in spring 2027. This means Pro models will get the newest technologies earlier than the rest.
