The author of the YouTube channel SwitchUp published a video showing a mockup of the Nintendo Switch 2 handheld console, reports PPE.

It is noted that the video shows a high-quality mockup provided by the manufacturer of cases. Since there is not much time left before the official presentation of the Switch 2, accessory manufacturers already know what the new console will look like, which allows them to create accurate mockups.

The new generation will mostly resemble the first Switch, but with a more rounded design and a larger screen, and Joy-Con controllers will be attached to the body of the device using magnets.

A new chip from Nvidia is expected to be installed inside the console, with support for proprietary technologies such as DLSS. The Nintendo Switch 2 is rumored to have a full-fledged launch in early 2025.

The original Nintendo Switch was released in March 2017. By August 2024, it had sold over 146 million units worldwide.
