As a result of the flare on the Sun, a huge cloud of plasma flies towards the Earth, the website of the Laboratory of Solar Astronomy of the Institute of Space Research of the Russian Academy of Sciences informs about this.

"Yesterday's flare was accompanied by an exceptionally fast release of plasma that will reach Earth today, and according to some estimates... This time, unfortunately, Earth will not be able to escape. "The plasma cloud is extremely large in size, and the limit of its width exceeds all possible measurement errors," the scientists warn.

On October 10, the densest cores of solar matter will reach the planet. Then the fifth, highest-level magnetic storm will begin. The next day, its power will decrease to level four. According to preliminary forecasts, space weather will last for three days.

NEWS.am Tech reported earlier that on October 9, a new X-class flare was recorded on the Sun, resulting in the emission of solar plasma. If the plasma reaches the Earth, it can cause flashes and radio communication failures on our planet.
