The back panels of the iPhone SE 4 and the standard version of the iPhone 16 will have common features, since they will be produced using the same technological process. This was reported by insider Fixed Focus Digital.
Earlier it became known that Apple plans to use a modified iPhone 14 case as the basis for the fourth generation iPhone SE. In November 2023, a source close to Apple's manufacturing process reported that the dimensions of the iPhone SE 4 "perfectly match" the dimensions of the base iPhone 14 model.
Apple is aiming to set a starting price below $500 for the fourth-generation iPhone SE, despite numerous rumors about upcoming upgrades. Changes include replacing Touch ID and the Home button with Face ID and a notch in the display, as well as increasing the display size from 4.7 inches to 6.1 inches. The new iPhone SE is expected to feature a USB-C port and an action button.
The third generation iPhone SE was released in March 2022. The iPhone 16 is expected to launch in September, while the iPhone SE 4 is expected to arrive in spring 2025.
Fixed Focus Digital previously shared details about the desktop version of the HarmonyOS operating system, which is due out in 2024, as well as leaked photos of the new iPhone SE4, renders of Huawei Pocket 2 and information about the colors of the iPhone 16.
