Vivo iQOO Z7i, first smartphone with Dimensity 6020 processor, is introduced

Vivo has introduced the iQOO Z7i smartphone based on the Dimensity 6020 single-chip platform. This 7nm chip from MediaTek is intended for entry-level 5G smartphones, and the iQOO Z7i is the first smartphone to get it.

As reported by GSMarena, the Dimensity 6020 platform received an 8-core processor: two large Cortex-A76 cores with a frequency of 2.2 GHz and 6 Cortex-A55 cores with a frequency of 2 GHz, as well as a Mali-G57 graphics processor. This smartphone has LPDDR4X operating system and UFS 2.2 built-in memory support. Also, it has support for up to 64MP cameras and FullHD+ screens support with up to 120Hz refresh rate.

iQOO Z7i

In addition, the iQOO Z7i features a 6.51-inch 720p LCD display, 128GB of storage—expandable via microSD card, and 4GB, 6GB, or 8GB of RAM, depending on the version. The main camera is dual, one with 13 megapixels and an aperture of f/2.2, the second one—with a 2 megapixel macro module (f/2.4). As for the selfie camera, it has a 5-megapixel sensor.

The battery capacity is 5000 mAh, and there is support for 15 W fast charging.

As for the software, the device runs on Android 13 and OriginOS Ocean interface.

The Vivo iQOO Z7i comes in black and blue. Its 4/128GB version costs about $137, the 6/128GB version—$145, and the 8/128GB version—$160.
