Before buying a new smartphone, it is important to check the release date of the device and its processor. Technical blogger Valentin Petukhov, known as Wylsacom, told Moscow 24 about this.

According to him, it is better to give preference to the most modern phone. The processor is the "heart" of the smartphone, on which the device's performance, speed, longevity and relevance depend, the expert explained.

"From the point of view of the market, smartphones produced today in 2024 and 2022 may be very close in price, but differ significantly in technical capabilities. Therefore, it makes sense to pay attention to these nuances," said Petukhov.

At the same time, he clarified that the purchase should be made based on your requirements and needs. "Someone drops the phone all the time, and for them shock resistance is more important than, for example, the camera or other elements. It's an another thing if the user is a content creator or photographer. The camera is more important for them than anything else," Petukhov concluded.
