How much is the revenue of Apple and other IT giants per second?

Consulting company AltIndex has prepared a report that shows how much money leading companies in the technology sector earned both throughout the year and every second.

According to the study, among the five largest technology companies (Google, Apple, Meta, Amazon, Microsoft), Apple recorded the highest performance in 2023. Accordingly, Apple earned a total of $96.9 billion in 2023, and the corporation earned $3,074 every second.

The report notes that after a noticeable decline in the second half of 2022, the five largest IT giants have confidently recovered. This was made possible thanks to a significant reduction in operating costs. As a result, by the end of 2023, the combined revenue of these companies will be $1.6 trillion, and net profit will be $290 billion, with Apple accounting for more than a third.

Apple also beat out Microsoft and Alphabet (Google's parent company), which earned $2,443 and $2,115, respectively. The list is completed by Meta and Amazon, whose earnings per second are $942 and $636, respectively.

Over the past year, Apple's share price has also risen by $390 billion. The company's market capitalization was $2.41 trillion in February 2023 and has since risen 16% to $2.8 trillion.
