WhatsApp rolls out another new feature

The developers of the WhatsApp messenger are introducing another new feature that will allow users to add their contacts to the Favorites folder.

According to the WABetaInfo portal, the innovation that will appear in the next update of the application will allow users to “prioritize conversations”: they will be able to quickly call selected contacts directly from the calls tab, and one touch will be enough to start a phone call.

Recently, the messenger owned by Meta has added many new useful functions. For example, it’s now possible to block spam directly from the lock screen—suspicious messages no longer even need to be opened.

One of the new beta versions of the WhatsApp messenger for iOS also introduced the integration of generative artificial intelligence (AI) into the support department: the neural network will answer questions from users who have encountered difficulties using the messenger.

In addition, WhatsApp will receive a new user interface with updated graphic design and will soon be compatible with other instant messengers.
