OnePlus has introduced a mid-range smartphone, the OnePlus 12R, with impressive specifications on the global market. The OnePlus 12R (also known as OnePlus Ace 3 in China) is built on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, with a top version featuring 16GB of RAM and 256GB of internal flash memory.

The device features an OLED BOE X1 display, which closely resembles the display on the OnePlus 12. The screen has a 6.78-inch diagonal, a 1.5K resolution, and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The peak brightness reaches 4500 cd/sqm. The display supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision technologies, and is protected by toughened Gorilla Glass Victus 2.

The main camera consists of three modules: a primary 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 sensor with optical stabilization, an 8-megapixel module with a wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel macro shooting module. The front camera has a resolution of 16 megapixels.

The OnePlus 12R is equipped with a vapor chamber camera area of 9140 mm2, the same size as the one in the OnePlus 12 and 76% larger than the OnePlus 11R. The device has a battery capacity of 5000 mAh, supporting 100W fast charging. The OnePlus 12R runs on Android 14 out of the box and comes with IP64 protection.

In India, the available versions are 8/128GB and 16/256GB, priced at $480 and $555, respectively. In the US, similar variants cost $500 and $600. European consumers, unfortunately, have less luck, with prices starting at 700 euros.
