MediaTek Dimensity 6100+, 5000mAh battery and very low price: Poco M6 5G unveiled

The Poco brand has announced its newest addition to its smartphone lineup - Poco M6 5G. Positioned as the little brother of the popular Poco M6 Pro 5G, this device offers an impressive set of specifications at a low price.

Poco M6 5G is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ processor and offers a 6.74-inch IPS display with Full HD+ resolution and a high refresh rate of 90Hz. Tempered Gorilla Glass 3 is used to reliably protect the display from damage.

The 5-megapixel front camera is discreetly housed in the waterdrop notch, while the rear camera system includes a powerful 50-megapixel sensor. The smartphone's battery has a generous capacity of 5,000 mAh and supports 18W fast charging.

The dimensions of the Poco M6 Pro 5G are 168 x 77.91 x 8.19 mm and it weighs 195 grams. The device is protected from splashing water and equipped with two slots for SIM cards. It also has Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.3 for hassle-free communication. The new product comes with pre-installed Android 13, a lightweight MIUI 14 shell, which provides users with a modern and functional user experience.

Note that the debut of the new product took place in India, where prices start at $115 for the version with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory, $125 for the model with 6/128 GB and $150 for the version with 8/256 GB. Sales of the new product will start on December 26.
