Apple will release new iPad Air, iPad and MacBook Air models in 2024

By the beginning of 2024, Apple plans to release new models of iPad Air, iPad Pro, and MacBook Air, according to sources familiar with the matter, as reported by Bloomberg.

According to the agency's insider, the new iPad Air will come in two sizes, and the Pro model will feature an OLED screen. The new MacBook Air model will run on the new M3 chip. Sources specify that the launch of the new iPads is expected by the end of March 2024, coinciding with the release of iPadOS 17.4. The release of the new Mac devices is also anticipated no earlier than March, added the agency's source.

For the last fiscal year ending on September 31, Apple's revenue and net profit decreased by 3% to $383.3 billion and $97 billion, respectively, with a decline in revenue noted in each of the four quarters of the fiscal year.

Regarding individual product categories, iPhone sales increased by 2.8% to $43.8 billion for the quarter. In September, Apple introduced the new iPhone 15 model. Mac sales declined by 33% to $7.6 billion for the quarter, and iPad sales decreased by 9% to $6.4 billion. Meanwhile, revenues from services, including the Apple Music music streaming service and Apple TV+ video service, saw a significant increase of 16% to $22.3 billion.
