Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, 5400 mAh battery and QHD+ screen: OnePlus 12 is introduced in China

Oneplus recently unveiled its new flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 12, in China, as reported by GizmoChina.

The OnePlus 12 maintains the design language of the OnePlus 11 but introduces some notable differences. The device features a glass sandwich construction with a metal frame in the middle and is equipped with IP65-rated water and dust resistance.

Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, coupled with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage, the phone incorporates a vapor chamber cooling system covering an area of 9,140 mm².

The phone boasts a 6.82-inch curved OLED display from BOE with a resolution of 3168 by 1440 pixels (QHD+), a pixel density of 510 PPI, and a refresh rate ranging from 1 to 120 Hz. The peak brightness of the display can reach up to 4500 nits.

In terms of the camera setup, the OnePlus 12 shares the same configuration as the OnePlus Open. It includes a 50 MP Sony LYT-808 main sensor, a 64 MP OmniVision OV64B sensor with three times zoom for the periscope lens, and a 48 MP Sony IMX581 ultra-wide-angle module with autofocus. On the front, there's a 32-megapixel selfie camera.

The device houses a 5400 mAh battery and supports wired charging up to 100 W and wireless charging up to 50 W.

The OnePlus 12 is already available for purchase in China, starting at a price of 4,300 yuan (about 607 USD).
