Realme to present cheapest flagship smartphone: How much will it cost and what specifications will it have?

Realme plans to introduce the most budget flagship smartphone -- Realme GT Neo6. The device will be equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, but it will cost only 200 yuan (approximately $275).

According to information from the GSMArena portal, citing insider sources, Realme GT Neo6 will be the first smartphone in this price segment to offer flagship hardware along with aluminum frames.

According to rumors, the device will feature an OLED display with narrow bezels and a 144Hz refresh rate. It will also receive a 50 megapixel main camera with optical stabilization (OIS). Other specs include support for 100W wired charging.

The official presentation of Realme GT Neo6 is expected in early 2024. The predecessor, Realme GT Neo5 (global name - Realme GT3), was introduced in February 2023 and featured a record 240W charging power, a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip and a maximum configuration with 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of internal storage.

Realme is also planning to introduce the GT6 flagship in the near future, which will be equipped with the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, periscope camera and USB 3.2.
