28 countries participating in the first international summit on the safe use of artificial intelligence, held in the UK, adopted the Bletchley Declaration, dedicated, in fact, to the safe use of AI.

According to the document, which was released by the office of UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, for the benefit of all, artificial intelligence must be designed, developed, deployed and used in a secure, human-centric and trustworthy manner.

The declaration notes that artificial intelligence poses a “significant risk” to everyday life and should be developed with human rights, fairness, transparency, ethics, and privacy and data protection in mind.

The document was signed by 28 countries: Australia, Brazil, Great Britain, Germany, Israel, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Spain, Italy, Canada, Kenya, China, Nigeria, the Netherlands, UAE, Republic of Korea, Rwanda, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, USA, Turkey , Ukraine, Philippines, France, Chile, Switzerland and Japan.

Previously, the G7 countries also agreed on general principles that artificial intelligence developers should follow.
