August 9, 2023  18:36

Apple's presentation, which will showcase the iPhone 15 line of smartphones and other exciting new products, is scheduled for September 12th. This date was confirmed by Bloomberg journalist and well-known insider Mark Gurman. This long-awaited event promises to bring many exciting innovations from the company.

Autumn iPhone presentations: a bit of history

As a rule, the introduction of new iPhone models takes place in the first two weeks of September, and most often the event is held on a Tuesday. It's also because the early September launch allows Apple to boost iPhone sales through the end of the fiscal quarter. This alignment allows the company to effectively plan their financial performance.

What to expect from the presentation?

On September 12, Apple is expected to introduce a whole line of smartphones: iPhone 15, 15 Plus, 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max. In addition, the company will also introduce an updated Watch Series 9 watch, as well as a new Watch Ultra model. This event promises to be a real treat for lovers of technology and innovation.

Online presentation

This year, Apple will hold a presentation of the iPhone 15 in an online format -- it will show a staged recording on its website and at its Apple Park campus, after which demo zones will be opened for journalists and bloggers at the headquarters, where you can look at new items and ask questions to company representatives.

According to insider and Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman, this format will allow the company to control the progress of announcements and avoid unforeseen situations, as well as use digital effects and smooth transitions between sections of the presentation.

What will the new iPhone 15 look like?

Nobody has seen the new iPhone 15 yet, but a lot is already known about their appearance. Insider Majin Bu posted photos on his X (formerly Twitter) page showing the glass for the iPhone 15 screen. The photo confirms that the bezels around the display will indeed be very thin.

Early leaks suggested that the bezels around the screen were about 1.5mm thick, which is a record. However, it is worth noting that other manufacturers are also actively working on reducing bezels, and Xiaomi is rumored to be planning to launch a flagship smartphone with even thinner bezels.
