Google spokeswoman Jen Kreider said the company is now in the early stages of exploring the idea of providing AI-powered tools to help journalists. Kreider added that these tools are not designed to replace journalists, but will only help them in their work.

Despite the potential benefits that AI technology can offer, some experts also see potential dangers. For example, City University of New York journalism professor and media expert Jeff Jarvis notes that using this tool correctly can greatly enrich the news block. However, inappropriate or uncontrolled use of artificial intelligence can damage the credibility of journalism and undermine trust in the media.

Some media outlets such as the NY Times, NPR, and Insider are also conducting research into the use of AI in news production. The Associated Press has successfully used AI intelligence to create stories on a variety of topics for a long time, but until now, AI has not replaced journalists in the news world.
