The database of all current versions of ChatGPT is updated up to September 2021, and the chatbot has almost no information about the events that happened after that. If it hits the Internet, it will help solve a number of tasks and problems that the company developping this chatbot, OpenAI, was facing.

One such problems is the fictitious sources and non-existent links that the premium version of GPT-4 regularly references. Once the chatbot has access to the web, this issue will likely be resolved.

In addition, the chatbot can search for information on the Internet and, for example, highlight the news on a certain topic for a given period.

According to the specialist, after such an update, many new opportunities for using the chatbot in the field of information search, structure and processing will be created. For example, it will not be necessary to "teach" the GPT step by step during one conversation (send a new message with the necessary instructions and data after each message), it will be enough to instruct the neural network to read the instructions via a hyperlink, and it will get access to the information necessary for work.
