Some users apply ice or special cooling stickers to their devices, but manufacturers like Apple warn that extremely low temperatures can damage the battery. Rapid cooling slows down chemical reactions, which in turn reduces battery efficiency. Experts from Vivo, Oppo, Huawei, and Honor share a similar view.

Company support services recommend avoiding placing smartphones in direct sunlight or hot places, such as leather bags. To prevent internal overheating, it is advised to enable power-saving mode and automatic brightness adjustment.

Vivo's support service also noted that contact with cooling stickers or ice can cause condensation inside the device, potentially damaging electronic components.

Honor experts suggest placing the device in a cool room or using special coolers. Alternatively, to dissipate heat, you can place the device on a cold metal surface.
