Famous scientist, writer and philosopher Nasim Taleb will participate as a special guest and keynote speaker in the "Science and Business Days 2023" event to be held in Yerevan on December 1-2.

During an online conversation with Armenian Economy Minister Vahan Kerobyan and Armenian journalists, the writer said that his coming to Armenia will be like returning home, because he has many Armenian friends and a strong connection with the Armenian people. He knows a lot about Armenia and has mentioned it more than once in his books.

As Vahan Kerobyan mentioned, "Science and Business Days 2023" will become a platform that will unite the worlds of science and business, promoting innovation, cooperation and progress.

"We talk a lot about the role of science, but science is not just a subject of research, it is one of the factors of progress and enlightenment that has helped humanity to reach great heights. Thanks to scientific research, we have achieved a deeper understanding of the universe, discovered the secrets of life, developed new technologies that have become a turning point and revolutionized all areas of our life," said the minister.

The minister noted that more than 4,000 scientists work in Armenia, and it is necessary to make sure that the results of their work can be introduced into our daily life, invested in the production and service sectors and made more accessible to the public. It is necessary to achieve that young people start showing greater interest in science, and doing science becomes more attractive and promising.

According to Kerobyan, "Science and Business Days 2023" will help build a bridge between academic knowledge and the modern business environment, increase the production potential of the country, thus contributing to its economic growth. The event will also help attract investments, both foreign and domestic, help Armenia achieve higher recognition in the international arena, promote the dissemination and exchange of knowledge, and help find new markets for our scientists and new opportunities for cooperation.
