16 GB RAM, non-standard camera: New version of Nubia Z50 introduced

Nubia unveiled a new version of the Nubia Z50 smartphone, which has 16 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal memory.

The Nubia Z50 got a SnapDragon 8 Gen 2 processor and a 64-megapixel Sony IMX787 camera with a 35-mm lens (F/1.6) and optical stabilization. The second module features a 50-megapixel Samsung S5KJN1 sensor and an ultra-wide-angle lens with autofocus.

Nubia Z50 got a 6.67-inch curved AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2400x1080, which provides a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz and a sampling rate of 360 Hz, the maximum brightness of the image is 1000 nits, and the color depth is 10 bits.

The phone got fast LPDDR5X and UFS4.0 memory, a built-in 5000 mAh battery and 80W fast charging support.

The smartphone will go on sale in China on February 27 at a price of $535.

In honor of the Year of the Rabbit, Nubia released a limited edition Z50 in December 2022. The Nubia Z50 Year of the Rabbit Limited Edition is colored red with an image of a golden rabbit. The phone features a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, dual cameras and a 5,000mAh battery.

Initially, the phone was available in 3 colors: black, white and green, and then also in red. The Nubia Z50 Year of the Rabbit Limited Edition has 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage (standard variants also have 8GB of RAM and other internal storage options) and costs about $445, which is considered a pretty low price for a smartphone with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor.
