WhatsApp has new feature

A new feature called Newsletter has been added to the beta version of WhatsApp, but it is not yet known what it is for, Techcrunch.com reports.

According to the source, this means that the news will appear in the messenger. Portal WABetaInfo conducted a study, according to which the Newsletter will not contain advertising and an algorithm that will create personalized recommendations for users.

The news content will be arranged in chronological order, just like a regular chat in the messenger. WhatsApp users will be able to choose news according to their taste. At the same time, the user's contacts cannot see information about his other subscriptions.

At the beginning of February, another new feature appeared in WhatsApp. Users now have the ability to decide which audience their messages will be available to.

WhatsApp recently added a number of new features. The beta version of the app launched a new feature that allows one account to be used from multiple devices.

In fall 2022, the messenger launched another feature through which users can now send messages to themselves. The app is also testing another feature, Picture-in-Picture, which allows users to use other apps for video calls.

In January of this year, the messenger announced that during 2023 it would launch a number of new features, such as data transfer between Android devices, recording complaints, saving disappearing messages, connecting to WhatsApp through a proxy server, recovering deleted messages and more.
