The above-mentioned smartphones are expected to get the new interface in China by the end of March this year, and in other regions a little later. At the same time, for some smartphones (in particular, for the latest models like Redmi Note 12 Pro) the new interface will be built on Android 13, and for others (for example, Xiaomi 10S) - on Android 12.

As for tablets, the following models will get the final version of MIUI 14 in early April:

  • Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro 12.4,
  • Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro 5G,
  • Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro,
  • Xiaomi Pad 5,
  • Redmi Pad.

There are no revolutionary innovations to be expected from the new MIUI 14, but its developers have improved a number of existing parameters. In particular, they optimized the system by offloading the RAM and built-in memory, increasing power efficiency, reducing the load on the processor, etc. The new interface will now take up only 13.9 GB of space on the phone and use only 3.3 GB of RAM.

And most importantly, MIUI 14 allows you to remove most of the system's default apps.
