Xiaomi is gearing up to expand its product lineup with the release of its first open-type headphones. The company has confirmed that these headphones will debut at the upcoming conference scheduled for April 10, with the main focus being on the Redmi Turbo 3. The event will also feature the unveiling of the Redmi Pad Pro.

Details about the headphones are limited, but a poster released by Xiaomi on Weibo reveals the design of the headphones and two color options. The housing matches the color of the headphones and features an LED indicator on the middle frame.

The technical specifications of Xiaomi's first open-type headphones are currently being kept secret. However, they are expected to focus on long battery life and comfortable wearing, similar to other competing products on the market.

Unlike traditional in-ear headphones, open-type headphones are positioned just outside the ear canal, leaving the ears open. They primarily use bone conduction or air conduction technologies for sound transmission. Xiaomi's future headphones will utilize air conduction technology. Pre-orders are already being accepted in China.
