Matte case and 44-hour battery: What will new flagship headphones from OnePlus look like?

The Chinese electronics brand OnePlus will present new flagship wireless headphones OnePlus Buds 3 at the beginning of 2024. The headphones will receive a beautiful matte case and a 44-hour battery.

As reported by GizmoChina, citing official materials from the company, OnePlus Buds 3 have the form of semi-ears with a glossy stem and silicone tips finished with a matte surface. The company has abandoned the two-tone design introduced in the previous Buds Pro and Buds Pro 2 models. The case for carrying and charging the headphones retains its square shape, but its lid is now completely matte.

OnePlus Buds 3 will be available in two colors: Space Gray and Clear Sea Blue. The poster claims that the new product “popularizes flagship audio quality and will become the number one choice for OnePlus users.”

One of the features of the headphones is the presence of an active noise reduction system. According to rumors, the OnePlus Buds 3 headphones will be equipped with a 10.4mm woofer and a 6mm tweeter. It is expected to support Google Fast Pair and the ability to synchronize with two devices at the same time. OnePlus Buds 3 will also receive protection against moisture and dust according to the IP55 standard. The battery life of the model with the case is expected to be 44 hours.

The announcement of the new product is scheduled for January 4, 2024, and on the same day information about the price of OnePlus Buds 3 will be revealed.
