Samsung is developing brand new foldable smartphone: When will it be released?

In 2024, Samsung will introduce the Ultra model for the first time in the Galaxy Z Fold smartphone series. This was reported by the publication SamMobile.

Information about the development of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra has appeared multiple times online over the course of the year, but insiders have not had concrete evidence of the model's existence until now. However, enthusiasts have now discovered a phone with the model number SM-F958 in the database of the South Korean certification center. In this case, the number 8 indicates that the word "Ultra" will be present in the marketing name of the device.

At the moment, according to the SamMobile report, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra is being developed only for the South Korean market. European and American versions of the phone have not yet been found.

"This may mean that Samsung will release the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra only in a few countries. Alternatively, the new product is in the early stages of development and may be released several months after the launch of the original Galaxy Z Fold 6," writes SamMobile.

It is not known for certain how the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra will differ from the Galaxy Z Fold 6. However, it is assumed that the Ultra version may be equipped with the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 For Galaxy processor, a titanium body, Gorilla Glass Armor screen protection, and improved built-in cameras.
