DxOMark experts conducted autonomy tests on the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, and it caused a bit of a sensation. Despite having the same specifications as its predecessor (battery capacity of 5000 mAh), the Galaxy S24 Ultra performed worse in the tests.

The main stumbling block is the rapid battery consumption when using social networks. In the corresponding test, the smartphone lasted 7 hours and 45 minutes, compared to the Galaxy S23 Ultra's 15 hours and almost 16 hours for the iPhone 15 Pro Max.

The GPS in the Galaxy S24 Ultra also quickly depletes the battery, although the difference from the Galaxy S23 Ultra and iPhone 15 Pro Max is not as significant. When using the camera, both the Galaxy S23 Ultra and Galaxy S24 Ultra showed practically identical results.

The overall autonomy rating for the Galaxy S24 Ultra was only 130 points. For comparison, the Galaxy S23 Ultra and iPhone 15 Pro Max scored 134 points, the Huawei P60 Pro scored 138 points, and the top-rated Honor Magic6 Pro achieved a score of 157 points.

Charging via cable for the Galaxy S24 Ultra takes 1 hour and 27 minutes for a full charge, reaching 80% in just 38 minutes. Wirelessly, the Galaxy S24 Ultra charges to 80% in 1 hour and 37 minutes, and fully charges in 2 hours and 9 minutes.
