WhatsApp will change the way to send voice and video messages

WhatsApp developers have completely redesigned the way to send voice and video messages in the messenger. WABetaInfo website reports this.

The changes made to the chat design of the beta version of WhatsApp for iPhones with code number 23.21.1.71 aim to make it easier to select voice and video messages.

If previously the user could switch between voice or video messaging modes by clicking the microphone or camera icon, now clicking on the icon will open a menu where the desired mode can be selected: voice or video messaging.

WhatsApp experts said that this change is being made to help inattentive users who accidentally click on the microphone icon more than once and then send a video message instead of a voice message without realizing it. With this change, after selecting the desired mode, you will need to hold down the corresponding icon to start recording a voice or video message.

The new toggle menu is currently available to some beta testers who have installed the current beta version of WhatsApp for iOS from TestFlight. It is not known when the innovation will be available to other users.
