Google has unveiled a new Android logo and new features for the mobile OS

Google has released a suite of updates to its mobile apps and services, including the universal At a Glance widget, improved algorithms for Lookout apps, new video features for Android Auto, and more. In addition, the logo of the Android operating system itself has undergone certain changes.

As The Verge informs, the design of the At a Glance widget, which is a function based on artificial intelligence algorithms, has been updated. The widget now offers a wider range of useful and up-to-date information about events, travel stages and weather.

The performance of the Google Wallet application has been optimized, the loading of cards with barcodes and QR codes has been simplified, the function of importing photos has been added.

The Lookout app, which offers text descriptions of photos for people with visual impairments, now describes images more fully and accurately, and answers additional questions.

Android Auto also a function to join Zoom and Webex video calling sessions, although it only has audio support.

The Android logo now looks a little different. The volume of the robot image has been restored and several coloring options have been offered depending on the context; there is even a version with fur. The corporate style of the system name is now made in the same font as the Google logo, and the word "Android" is written in capital letters.
