Ozon products already available for Armenia residents

The Ozon online trading platform of Russia has started selling goods from Russia in Armenia. The average delivery time is about seven days. In the future, Ozon plans to develop its logistics infrastructure in Armenia.

As Forbes.ru reports, the company informed that buyers from Armenia can order almost the entire assortment of the Russian market, and these products can be ordered through Omni Logistics delivery.

"The great advantage of online trading platforms is the wide range, the selection of products on the virtual storefront is much larger than in a regular retail store," said Aleksey Sapon, Ozon Director of Operations and Development in the CIS.

"We want to strengthen our infrastructure in the country so that even the residents of the most remote corners of Armenia can order online and choose products from a wide variety," he added.

Armenia’s consumers can buy Ozon's 196 million name products in more than 20 categories, from books and clothing to food and care products. These products can be purchased through the delivery service or Omni Logistics pick-up points. The average delivery time for these products is about seven days.

The Ozon informs that it plans to develop its logistics infrastructure in Armenia, including its own delivery service and a network of receiving points. Ozon has been developing business in the CIS since 2021, the company already has its own logistics infrastructure in Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan. Ozon is actively developing as an online platform, and more than 90% of its range is already designed by platform partners.

Earlier, it was reported that Ozon will enter Armenia’s market this fall.
