iPhone to get a new "superhero" app: What does Marvel have to do with it?

April 25, 2023  13:50

A new app is coming to iPhones that is sure to appeal to fitness enthusiasts and fans of superhero comics and movies. Marvel Move will encourage users to move and run more.

The app is similar to Nike Run Club and Apple Fitness+. The app will record data about running outdoors or on a treadmill, but everything will be designed in the style of superheroes, moreover, all actions and motivational phrases will be voiced by actors who played in Marvel movies. For example, Thor is voiced by Chris Hemsworth, and Hulk by Mark Ruffalo. The ad also features the voice of the charismatic Tom Hiddleston, who plays Loki.

Additional motivation for physical activity will be provided by superhero bonuses and achievements. During the run, characters from Marvel movies will cheer users on and talk about how they trained to achieve their achievements. It will also be possible to choose different stories and plots in which the user will be involved in adventures together with the heroes։ this way running will be seen as a game and an adventure rather than a boring necessity.
