Key to crypto wallet containing 62 bitcoins to be sent to Moon: Whoever finds key first to get these bitcoins

Crypto company LunarCrush plans to organize the first interplanetary treasure hunt. The company will send a key to a crypto wallet containing 62 bitcoins to the Moon, and these bitcoins can be obtained by the one who gets there first.

The key will be engraved on a probe that will be sent to the Moon by a SpaceX rocket this fall. Even company employees will not know this key; it will be known only by the one who will physically fly to the Moon, find the probe, and read the code on it. LunarCrush management hopes that this event will inspire people to make new discoveries.

How much bitcoin will be worth by the time when a lucky astronaut finds them is hard to say, but at the current exchange rate, 62 bitcoins are worth about US$1.5 million. The company plans to buy them with the proceeds from the sale of a portion of its NFT collections.

The interesting thing is that the aforesaid crypto wallet is open; that is, if necessary, more bitcoins can be added to it to increase the stakes.
