Huawei presented the nova 11 Ultra smartphone, which, despite its low price, has a number of features and characteristics that not all flagship devices can boast of today.

Huawei nova 11 Ultra, in particular, has support for satellite connecion, in addition, it is a two-way connection: with its help messages can be both sent and received. Neither Xiaomi 13 Pro nor Galaxy S23 Ultra has such a connection capability. There is such a possibility in iPhone 14, but it is one-sided.

The smartphone also has a super strong Kunlun glass, which was produced by Huawei: it is much stronger than the currently popular Gorilla Glass Victus/Victus 2 used in most flagships, and many tests have already proven it; if the phone is dropped on a hard surface like concrete, the Gorilla Glass will break, but the Kunlun probably won't.

The Huawei nova 11 Ultra also features a primary camera with a variable aperture lens, just like the flagship Huawei P60 Pro/Art and Xiaomi 13 Ultra. It is said that the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra will also get such a lens, but that will happen next year.

There are only three sensors in the main camera:

  • 50 MP main and F/1.4-4.0 variable aperture lens with RYYB pixel arrangement (as in the case of Huawei's flagship smartphones);
  • 8 MP sensor module with ultra-wide-angle lens;
  • 2MP module for depth of field

The front camera consists of a main sensor (60 MP, 1/2.61-inch optical format) and an additional sensor (8 MP that works with a telephoto lens that provides 2x optical and 5x digital zoom).

As for the rest of the specifications, the smartphone has a 6.78-inch OLED display with 1.5K (2652 x 1200 pixels) resolution, 120Hz frame rate and 1440Hz PWM frequency.

The smartphone works with SoC Snapdragon 778G 4G, the software platform is HarmonyOS 3. The battery capacity is 4500 m/H, it supports 100 W wired charging.

The smartphone is 7.99 mm thick and weighs 188 grams. Available in two colors: black and green.

The smartphone is presented in one configuration with 256 GB of flash memory. The phone costs only $655, which is considered quite a low price for such specifications.
