How much will iPhone 16 Pro cost? new information about the specifications of the smartphone

Insider and analyst Anthony, known on the social network X (formerly Twitter) under the nickname @TheGalox_, published the specifications of the iPhone 16 Pro on his page and revealed its price.

According to the source, the iPhone 16 Pro will be sold in the U.S. starting at $999 (about 88,000 rubles) — the same price as the current iPhone 15 Pro. From this, it can be concluded that the new model will apparently not be more expensive.

The smartphone will feature a 6.3-inch Samsung M14 OLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1600 nits. Previous iterations of the iPhone Pro had 6.1-inch screens.

The device's performance will be powered by the proprietary Apple A18 Pro chipset, paired with 8 GB of RAM. Despite the implementation of the RAM-intensive Apple Intelligence AI system, the company does not yet plan to increase the amount of RAM to 12 GB. For the AI to work, at least 8 GB of RAM is required.

The iPhone 16 Pro will have a battery capacity of 3577 mAh, but the fast charging power has not yet been disclosed.

Significant changes are expected for the camera system. The smartphone will be equipped with a 48 MP main module, a 48 MP wide-angle lens (instead of the previous 12 MP), and a 12 MP periscope telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom. Previously, such a telephoto lens was only available in the iPhone 15 Pro Max, while the iPhone 15 Pro and older flagship models offered only 3x zoom.

Other features include support for Wi-Fi 7 and the addition of a Capture Button on the body, which will be used to launch the camera and release its shutter.
