Nokia and the Heineken brewing company have introduced a new “boring” phone, which, unlike most modern devices, does not have social networks, a browser or even email. But it is designed for users over 21 years of age.

This unusual gadget is called the Boring Phone and seems to be designed to evoke a sense of nostalgia. It is a translucent clamshell with a minimal set of functions, but with the classic game “Snake” installed.

The phone description is posted on the Heineken website, which restricts access to information to persons under 21 years of age. There are no plans to sell this device, but they plan to use it as a prize in various promotions on social networks. The total number of phones produced will be 5,000.

The phone features a 2.8-inch QVGA internal display, a 1.77-inch external display, a 0.3-megapixel camera and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Boring Phone supports calls and text messages over 2G, 3G and 4G networks.

The Boring Phone draws are planned to begin in the UK from June 2024, before expanding to other regions.
