Chinese smartphone manufacturer Blackview has unveiled the budget model Oscal Modern 8, based on the Unisoc T616 SoC, priced at $96.
The new Oscal Modern 8 runs on the DokeOS 4.0 interface based on the Android 13 operating system. It features a 6.75-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels. The display can reach a maximum brightness of 450 cd/m2 and a refresh rate of 90 Hz.
The smartphone is equipped with a 50 MP Samsung ISOCELL JN1 rear camera and an 8 MP Samsung ISOCELL 4H7 front camera.
It boasts a 6000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support, allowing for up to 8 hours of gaming without recharging and up to 744 hours in standby mode.
The smartphone does not support NFC and 5G. Buyers have three color options available: Ash Grey, Ripple Blue, and Wisteria Purple.
