Asus introduces ZenScreen Fold mobile foldable OLED monitor: What makes it stand out?

Within the sidelines of the largest technology exhibition CES held in Las Vegas, Asus showed ZenScreen Fold, a portable OLED monitor that can be folded for transport or more convenient use.

The company has not yet announced the sale price and launch date, but journalists believe that the device can be purchased for no less than $2,000.

The screen diagonal of ZenScreen Fold is 17.3 inches when unfolded, and the resolution is 2560x1920 pixels. In this case, the screen can be divided into two 12.5-inch monitors with a resolution of 1920x1280 pixels.

The matrix covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color space and complies with the DisplayHDR True Black 500 specification. A Waterdrop hinge is installed in the center of the device, which, according to the company, leaves no marks at the folding site.

ZenScreen Fold has two USB-C, one Mini HDMI connector, speakers, a headphone jack and a stand that can be used to hold the device in horizontal and vertical positions. In addition, there is a folding leg on the back of the case. The thickness of the device when opened is 9.7 millimeters, the screen weighs 1.17 kilograms.
