New and very useful feature in WhatsApp: Now you can pin messages

WhatsApp has introduced the ability to pin messages to the top of a chat for up to 30 days. This feature, similar to the one introduced in the Facebook Messenger mobile app, is currently being gradually rolled out to users, some getting it sooner than others.

To pin a message, just press and hold the selected message, after which the “Pin” option will appear. By default, a message can be pinned for 7 days, but this can be changed to 24 hours or a maximum of 30 days. The feature can be applied to any message, including polls, images, and videos. Group chat admins can also set pinned messages to only be visible to other admins.

This new feature will help users highlight important information in chats, providing control over the conversation and maintaining focus on the main topic despite various comments and discussions.
