Ahead of the unveiling of its flagship Pixel 8 Pro smartphone (scheduled for October 4), Google has posted an online simulator that lets you view the phone from all sides and angles, making it possible to see the locations of all the keys and connectors on the phone.
As reported by The Verge, referring to the bloggers who first discovered the virtual Pixel 8 Pro, to get access to it, it is necessary to insert the name of the new model in the hyperlink of the Pixel Phone Simulator section: pixel.withgoogle.com/Pixel_8_Pro.
The Pixel 8 Pro smartphone simulator shows the device in three colors – pale blue, gray and black – and also confirms rumors that the Pixel 8 Pro will get a thermometer placed on the rear panel next to the cameras. However, the simulator does not contain any description of the device's specifications.
It should be noted that Pixel 8 Pro has retained the SIM card slot, which refutes the rumors that the new smartphone will be released only with an eSIM version. Judging by the data of the simulator, the new smartphone will receive support for 5G mmWave networks, as well as a telephoto module with 5x optical zoom. There is little time left for the presentation of Pixel 8 Pro, so it is not excluded that there will be new leaks about the new product.
A few days ago, a photo of a smartphone appeared on the Google Store page, which showed a man talking on the Google Pixel 8 Pro. The photo showed that the design of the smartphone matches the previous leaks.
The GSMArena website, referring to an anonymous source, in turn wrote that the new Google Pixel series models will be significantly more expensive compared to the previous generation of smartphones. Accordingly, the base version of Google Pixel 8 (128 GB) will be offered at a price of 874 euros (about $940), the version with 256 GB of memory will cost 949 euros (about $1,020), and the version of Pixel 8 Pro with 128 GB of built-in memory will cost 1,235 euros. ($1,330), and the 256GB version costs €1,309 ($1,410). The most powerful modification with 512 GB of memory surprises with its price: 1461 euros (about 1575 dollars).
