A new public version of the WhatsApp messenger has appeared in AppStore, allowing users to send short video messages of up to one minute to each other, the WABetaInfo website informs.
To record a video message, you need to click on the microphone icon in the right corner of the dialog window, after which an icon in the form of a camera appears, clicking on which you can already record the video message.
Another new feature is the ability to share the screen during a video call. Now users can broadcast their phone screen during video calls.
WABetaInfo writes that this mode is suitable for the joint solution of various work and household problems. To activate this feature, WhatsApp developers have added a new button to the interface that appears during video calls.
To get access to the described functions of WhatsApp, it is necessary to download version 23.16.78 of the messenger from the App Store. WABetaInfo warns that for some users, these new features may not appear immediately after installing the update, but only after some time.
