An android robot EveR-6 conducted the National Orchestra of South Korea at the Seoul Music Festival. The robot coped with its role perfectly, delighting both the audience and critics. This unique robot has the ability to analyze the sound, movements and emotions of performers, as well as adapt to different styles and genres of music.

During this concert, the robot was at its best: according to experts, he EveR-6 showed a high level of coordination, expressiveness and charisma. He has also shown the ability to perform repetitive movements at high speed.

Before the start of the performance, the robot bowed to the audience and, turning to the musicians, began to conduct. Under his direction, the orchestra performed three of the five works performed at the festival.

In one of the compositions, EveR-6 even collaborated with a live conductor, the famous Korean maestro Choi Soo Yeol.

The musicians are quite satisfied with the work of the robot: according to them, it really helps them maintain a set pace and be focused on executing commands.

The almost two-meter-tall robot was developed by Samsung engineers at the Korea Institute of Industrial Technology. The robot can make sharp movements, which he was taught by a real conductor, thanks to flexible joints and the use of a special system that captures gestures using sensors attached to the human body.

Despite the high accuracy of movements and the ability to maintain a given pace of performance, EveR-6 has a significant drawback - the lack of hearing. Unlike humans, EveR-6 is not yet able to perceive music and react to minor mistakes of musicians. However, in the future, perhaps he will also have such a skill. In the future, the developers plan to improve the robot so that it can become a full-fledged auxiliary tool for conductors.

Korean specialists are already working on the creation of the EveR-7 robot, which promises to surpass its predecessor in terms of capabilities and functionality.
