Zaha Hadid (Zaha Mohammad Hadid, 1950-2016) is an architect and designer who creates buildings in the deconstructivist style. In 2004, she became the first woman in history to be awarded the Pritzker Prize, awarded for achievements in the field of architecture. She was also the first woman to receive the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) gold medal.

The Guardian described her as the "Queen of the curve."

Her most famous works include the London Olympic aquatic centre, the University of Michigan Great Art Museum in the US and the Guangzhou Opera House in China.
