In the beta version of the popular Telegram messenger, digital gifts have appeared, which resemble animated stickers and include a number of GIFs, such as a firecracker, a festive crocodile with whistles, a crying duckling, a clown, a big heart, an orangutan at work, etc., reports Gazeta.ru.
When sending these gifts to the interlocutor, the corresponding effects also appear on the screen, and it is also possible to add a small message to the GIF. Additionally, users can use the feature to send them anonymously, in which case the sender's name will not be reflected in the gift.
The recipient and the sender will be able to see the date the gift was sent, information about who and to whom it was sent, as well as the message. Some gifts may be in limited quantities, for example, crocodiles with a tail, their number is only 1000.
The gifts will be available for purchase using "stars" for internal use, ranging in price from 25 to 2000. The cost of one "star" is about 1.9 rubles. Users will also receive a special section with gifts, where they can not only be saved, but also exchanged back with "stars" to get access to the content of the paid channel or to buy Toncoin with a 15% commission.
Let's remind that the domestic currency was added to the messenger in June of this year. With its help, app users can pay for digital goods and services in the Telegram ecosystem.
