Starlink, owned by American entrepreneur Elon Musk, may lose its operating license in Brazil if the businessman does not comply with the requirements to block the social network X. This was reported by G1, citing a statement from the president of the National Telecommunications Agency, Carlos Baigorri.

"This is in accordance with the law on administrative procedures. Possible sanctions include warnings, fines, and eventually the revocation of the license," Baigorri said.

The president of the agency added that Starlink could lose its right to operate if the government withdraws its license.

On August 17, the social network X announced the urgent suspension of its operations in Brazil. This decision resulted from a conflict with the country's Supreme Court judges over censorship issues.

On August 29, Judge Alexandre de Moraes of Brazil's Supreme Federal Court issued a summons to Musk, demanding that he appoint a new legal representative for the platform in the country within 24 hours. However, the businessman refused to comply with this order.

On August 30, Brazil's Supreme Court ordered the immediate cessation of the social network's operations in the country.
